On-Site Mending and Alteration Service; March 22

Join us Saturday March 22, from 12-6 for on-site mending and alterations with HNI Collective!

This listing serves as an RSVP so we can let Itohan know roughly how many people to expect. You will pay for services directly on the day of drop off. Pricing can be found in the photos attached, or below.

Itohan Asemota will be joining us to offer mending and alteration services. For smaller fixes, like button/snap/hook-and-eye replacements, fixing an open seam, or mending a hole, you can expect to have your piece back same day. For more time consuming fixes, like hemming, shortening sleeves, taking in, or zipper replacement, you'll be able to drop your piece with Itohan during the event and expect around a 2-4 week turn around. 

If you prefer a seamless, less noticeable mend for your garments rather than the aesthetic of a visible mend (or if you would rather not be responsible for the outcome of mending your own clothing) don't miss this event! 

Base pricing (costs listed below may change based on project):

Day-of Services:

• Add/replace button/snap/hook & eye: $10
• Fix open seam: $20
• Mend hole/tear: $30

Longer Turn Around Services:

• Shortening sleeves: $25 
• Hem: $30 (shirt), $35 (jumpsuits, dresses, and pants)
• Take in/slim: $40 (shirts), $45 (jumpsuits and dresses), $55 (pants)
